Reading Newspaper Or Feeding Negativity !!!
Good Morning People,
Hope you had a lovely morning. Let me ask you - "How does your morning ritual look like?". Most of us will answer that it begins with a cup of tea and a newspaper. For 90% of us, newspaper is an integral part of the morning ritual. Such is the force of habit that on days when the newspaper is not delivered, there is a feeling of incompleteness.
But, I give you all some food for thought. How do you wish to spend the most powerful time of your day? Do you want it to start with a positive note or negativity? Activities that you do in the morning have great affect to your body, mind and emotion.

Newspapers predominantly focus on what’s wrong. They create the impression that our world is full of opportunistic, manipulative, and wicked people. Reading such news gives rise to a disturbing feeling: a mixture of sadness, disappointment, annoyance, irritation, hopelessness and, frequently, anger. These negative feelings, in turn, damage our physical and physiological health. Bit by bit of this feeling will be carried throughout the day and contributed as unnecessary feelings to your emotion. Early mornings ought to be happy and hopeful — after all, they set the tone for the rest of the day.
If the morning newspaper [or TV news] is a habit for you, avoid reading tragic and death story like accidents. Try breaking it by replacing it with something more useful such as yoga, a morning walk or even reading a good book. Give this a shot for a month.

If you read the newspaper for 15 minutes each morning, then check the news for 15 minutes during lunch or 15 minutes during evening. Cut down on the consumption of news. Don't eliminate it as it's important to stay updated with the world too. Read inspiring story or business news instead.
Believe me, you won't miss anything important. What you miss are stories of scams, scandals, crimes, cheating, match-fixing. All I am suggesting is that you should stop inviting all that negativity into your life.
I hope, we all will fill our lives with some positivity and start our mornings with some healthy food for minds.
